Over time, stainless steel will scratch from everyday use. Use the following tips to maintain the look of a new sink.

Cleaning:

• Clean the sink at least once a week with a non-abrasive cleaner and cloth or sponge. Apply cleaner with the grain of the sink.
• Rinse cleaner off and buff dry with a soft, dry cloth.
• Blotting the sink dry with a soft cloth after each use will reduce water deposits.
• Sink accessories like a bottom rack or rinse basket will help protect from scratching.

Rust Removal:

• Use Bar Keepers Friend or Autosol Rust Remover to clean problem areas.
• After applying the cleaner, wipe the surface clean and immediately rinse with water. Also, rinse and dry any overspray on surfaces nearby.
• Do not allow the cleaner to soak.

Things to Avoid:

• Do not use a scouring pad, steel wool, or a wire brush to clean.
• Do not use cleaners with chloride because they will cause corrosion.
